Jin Mu-won, commonly known by the epithet Northern Blade, is the main protagonist of Legend of the Northern Blade and the 5th generation sect leader of the Northern Heavenly Sect. He is also the only practitioner of the secret martial art known as the "Gathering of Ten Thousand Shadows", and the son of the fourth generation sect leader, Jin Kwan-ho.

He is introduced as a child who saw his father die as a result of a sinister plot hatched by the Nine Skies-led Central Heavenly Alliance and the Great Four of the Northern Heavens to betray the sect.

I haven't read the LN for LotNB. It's my assumption based on pacing up until now and and story progression. In chapter 180, we see Silent Night Leader dies(?) and Mu Won come to challenge Yul-Cheon. Silent Night Leader barely made scrathes on yul-cheon, so it's safe to assume everyone there is fodder for him. Based on that and the fact that SNL's soul(?) was being extracted by the Demon, I think they must loose this battle and another training ark follows. Cause as of now I don't see a single scenario where they win against Yul except an asspull.

Here's my assumption on how the story goes, Mu-Won starts fighting but doesn't do much. Then Ha-Seol comes and a battle insues. Most probably Iron Brigade joins too and helps them flee once again, most probably after a really cool fight scene and the loss of their leader. Mu-escapes again. This time with NHS and SNL. SNL teaches him Yul-cheon's mastered technique and NB learns it and breaks through, standing on the same footing as Yul cheon, a final battle between corrupted Twin Headed Demons and NHL begins. With a heavy loss NHS emerges victorious and Yul-cheon's reign of terror is finally been ended. But....... at that moment Mu-Won understands Yul-cheon's POV, the world shall always remain in fire; either internal conflict or external threat(Silent Night).

That's just my theory, how do you feel about it

Solid theory but imo there’s not much left to cover other than this final fight and the whereabouts of Dam Soo-Cheon. Jin will most likely loose in this fight and unless he intervened with no option, he probably has a plan or there could be a possibility of him gaining enlightenment through this fight and the author pulling something like some hidden techniques of the prev sect leaders passed down to him through the Gathering of Ten Thousand Shadows.

But since Dam is looking for Moyong he might arrive and find them fighting + after knowing of his father’s death, he might team up with Jin since their goals align although Dam has a grudge on Jin for killing shim won-Lee so idk how it might go

No cap probably for some the best manhwa they will ever read. Easy S tier. It is a snowball effect. From that fight everything will jist keep adding and adding up until S3 end where SHIT REALLY HITS THE FAN. Everything before that is just as good

It's pretty slow and after chapter 30 mc starts growing strong but sometimes you will feel annoying because there will be a lot of side characters who want to rule the world and frame the northern sect. They will put MC into the corner and he has to fight back and escape. But if you like a totally OP Mc then there is an underrated Murim manhwa which is Demon first of mount hua sect. Try reading it you will love it. To peak your interest, mc is gonna get stuck under a cave and after 10 or so years later when he gets out of the cave he will be the strongest EXISTANCE.
