BOKU DAKE GA INAI MACHI
When tragedy is about to strike, Satoru Fujinuma finds himself transported back to several minutes before the accident occurred. Isolated, the 29-year-old manga artist has taken advantage of this powerful but mysterious phenomenon he calls "revival" to save many lives.
However, when he is wrongly accused of murdering someone close to him, Satoru is once again sent to the past, but this time 18 years earlier in 1988. Soon, she discovers that the murder may be linked to the kidnapping and murder of one of her classmates, the lonely and mysterious Kayo Hinazuki, which occurred when she was a child. This is their chance to make things right.
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi follows Satoru on his mission to uncover what really happened 18 years ago and prevent his classmate's death while protecting those he cares about in the present.
A strange phenomenon where one is transferred back to the moment right before something life-threatening occurs. This continues to happen until the cause of the threat is erased. It is as if somebody is forcing Satoru to stop it from happening. Then one day, everything is changed. What truths are revealed when Satoru comes face to face with his own past? How will they affect his future? Note: Was nominated for the 18th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Reader Award in 2014 and for the 7th, 8th and 9th Manga Taisho Award between 2014 and 2016..
